The Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP) designation is the only certification that signifies broad knowledge across all facets of the special events industry. It conveys credibility and a competitive edge when marketing or soliciting business. Preparation for and maintenance of the CSEP designation contributes to the industry's overall knowlede base, removes performance uncertainty for clients, and opens market opportunities.
Initial Launch Window: October 1-31, 2020 (Application submissions requested by September 15, 2020*)
*Applications take 10-15 business days to be reviewed, so we strongly encourage submitting applications well ahead of the window. Though ILEA will accept applications after September 15, ILEA cannot control or guarantee the availibility of desired attempt dates/times.
PLEASE NOTE: The 2020 CSEP Exam is brand new, and therefore exam window attempt data must be analyzed by a psychometrician in order to set a passing score. This analysis will take place after the exam window closes, and score results will be emailed to candidates in mid-November. Please refrain from contacting ILEA about your exam results until after November 20, 2020.
Future exam availability will be announced after psychometric analysis of the initial exam window has been performed.
