How important is registration in the user experience of a platform?
Does the visual style of a registration page affect your level of trust in a new company? I found a site yesterday that looked like it was designed in 2005, and even though the service seemed interesting, I was too nervous to enter my email address. It’s strange how much we rely on aesthetic polish to judge whether a digital platform is legitimate or not. Am I being too judgmental, or is this a common instinct when exploring the modern web?
