Field Service Software in 2026
Is it just me, or does most field service software still look like it was designed for desktop computers in the office? I work in electrical repair and spend all day at clients' sites. I don't even get to my computer until 8 PM, when I'm completely exhausted.
Every platform has these beautiful desktop dashboards with drag-and-drop planning boards and CRM pipelines, and I think, "Wow, who needs that?" I need to send a quote in under 5 minutes and get paid... that's all there is to it.
Has anyone found field service software that's actually designed primarily for phones, and not just a "mobile app" that's a stripped-down version of the desktop version?
